Welcome
The Tarset Archive is run by a community group. Its over-all aim is to collate and record all aspects of Tarset's heritage and compile a digital archive.
We work by organising projects and surveys that are open for anyone to join, and there is plenty of scope for individual research. We are interested in everything from geology, archaeology, industrial archaeology, to cultural and social history and the current state of biodiversity, and particularly in the way these are inter-related.
We welcome offers of help, as well as suggestions for further research, and are happy to facilitate anyone wanting to undertake work in the area.
